The Semantic Map: Rebuilding a SaaS Category
A category-leading SaaS brand was invisible for its own category. We mapped the semantic territory and claimed it, cluster by cluster.

The Complication
The brand ranked for its own name and almost nothing else. Competitors owned the category's commercial intent. The brief: make them the default answer.
The Diagnosis
The site had content, but no architecture. Pages were produced reactively, each chasing a single keyword, with no semantic relationship between them. There was no map, only islands.
The Calibration
We built a semantic map of the entire category: 2,400 intent clusters across four buyer stages. Every existing page was assigned to a cluster; every gap became a brief. Internal linking was rewired to pass equity along the map's strongest paths.
The Result
- ▸Category keywords in top 3: 0 → 184
- ▸Non-brand organic: +207%
- ▸Featured snippets: +340%
The brand became the category's reference movement.
